This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical SAP Project Manager based in United Kingdom.
This role offers the opportunity to lead critical workstreams within a large-scale global SAP RISE transformation program. As a Technical SAP Project Manager, you will drive complex migration initiatives, ensuring successful delivery across scope, timelines, budgets, and quality objectives. You will collaborate with international technical and business teams, acting as the key link between stakeholders and facilitating effective decision-making. The position requires strong project leadership combined with the ability to understand complex SAP concepts and guide execution without hands-on technical consulting. With significant visibility across global operations, this role provides the opportunity to contribute to a major digital transformation journey in an international environment.
Accountabilities
- Lead two SAP migration workstreams, ensuring successful execution according to project scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations.
- Manage SAP RISE transformation projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from initial planning through implementation and final delivery.
- Coordinate international cross-functional teams and facilitate collaboration between technical specialists, business stakeholders, and project partners.
- Participate in technical discussions by understanding proposed concepts, challenging assumptions where relevant, and supporting effective decision-making.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and operational challenges to maintain delivery momentum.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and provide clear status reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive execution excellence by ensuring alignment, accountability, and successful achievement of transformation objectives.
- Travel regularly to key project locations in Gothenburg and Munich to collaborate with technical and business teams.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager with strong knowledge of SAP upgrade and transformation projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale global SAP projects, ideally involving SAP RISE environments.
- Solid understanding of SAP-related database migration projects, preferably Oracle-to-HANA migrations.
- Ability to follow and understand technical discussions and concepts without requiring hands-on technical consulting expertise.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience coordinating international teams.
- Structured and results-oriented approach with a strong focus on delivery, ownership, and execution quality.
- Ability to work effectively in complex, global environments with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
- German language skills are considered an advantage but are not mandatory.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly within Europe, particularly to Gothenburg and Munich.
