Job Description: Technical Scrum Master

We’re seeking a Technical Scrum Master to join our Cloud Engineering function, helping deliver cloud and infrastructure capabilities across our product and programme teams. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and maintain a growing backlog of shared services while collaborating with engineering teams to drive high-quality, business-aligned outcomes.

  • Translating stakeholder requirements into clear, delivery-ready outcomes
  • Developing well-structured user stories and work scopes aligned with engineering teams
  • Managing and maintaining a cloud/infrastructure backlog, prioritised to meet business needs
  • Assessing team capacity and supporting planning, estimation, and prioritisation
  • Facilitating Agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, retros) while promoting best practices
  • Identifying and resolving dependencies/obstacles to ensure smooth delivery
  • Driving continuous improvement by encouraging reusable capabilities across teams
  • Ensuring quality standards are met, contributing to strong business results

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Scrum Master, ideally in technical or engineering environments
  • Deep understanding of Agile principles and practices, including facilitation of Agile ceremonies
  • Technical background or hands-on experience working with engineering teams (e.g., cloud infrastructure concepts)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Strong stakeholder management and clear communication with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Adaptability for fast-paced environments with evolving priorities
  • Organisational and problem-solving skills, balancing delivery with strategic planning
  • (Desirable) Agile/Scrum certification and a commitment to lifelong learning
