Role: Technical SEO Manager (Ecommerce, Fully Remote)

Full-Time – £35,000-£50,000 (MUST be UK based)

👋 Who We Are

We are Searchflex, a high-performance ecommerce search agency. We don’t do generic SEO - we build full ecom search systems for D2C brands doing £100k–£10M/month, focused on profit, clarity, and control. We’re expanding - and we’re hiring someone smart, reliable, and technical to take ownership of SEO execution.

🎯 Role Overview

You’ll work closely with the director and Head of Search to deliver SEO across multiple Headless, Shopify, Magento & WooCommerce brands. You’ll help turn SEO audits and performance roadmaps into real improvements, owning execution across technical health, discoverability, performance, and conversion optimisation.

You’ll be responsible for improving how our clients online stores perform in traditional SEO and AI search by fixing technical issues, overseeing content performance, and ensuring SEO best practices are properly implemented across the site.

🛠️ Responsibilities

You will own delivery of:

  • Technical Audits – Crawl execution, issue prioritisation, client-ready timeline documentation
  • Content Briefing Systems – Assist in clustering + briefing based on keyword/intent
  • Structured Data – Implement and maintain schema across products, collections, articles
  • Site Speed – Core Web Vitals, theme optimisations, render-blocking assets
  • Sitemaps – Fix 4xx/3xx URLs in XML, manage crawl coverage
  • Robots.txt – Syntax and logic fixes, clean up disallowed assets
  • International SEO – Hreflang, X-default, language redirects, canonical issues
  • Indexation & Crawl Cleanups – Internal 404s, redirect chains, duplicate content
  • A/B Testing Prep – Assist with test setup + CRO-focused implementation
  • HTML/CSS/Theme-Liquid – Light theme edits (Shopify), debugging layout/UX issues
  • Documentation – Keeping audit deliverables clean, clear, and client-ready

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
