Technical Service Delivery Manager

Are you excited to join an organisation at the beginning of a significant technology transformation? Are you keen to play a key role in shaping how technology services are delivered across our business? We are seeking a Technical Service Delivery Manager to take ownership of the stability, resilience and continuous improvement of our IT services.

Your role

As a senior leader within Technology Operations, you will help shape and develop a high-performing technology function that supports Peel Ports’ people, operations and strategic ambitions across a complex 24/7 environment. You will lead and inspire technical teams, strengthening capability across infrastructure, cloud, networks and support services while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for the operational performance, stability and continual improvement of IT services, ensuring they remain reliable, resilient, scalable and aligned to business needs. Through clear service ownership, data-led decision making and proactive risk management, you will drive service excellence while addressing technical debt and operational challenges before they impact the organisation.

A key aspect of the role is providing leadership during major incidents and service disruptions, ensuring effective restoration, clear stakeholder communication and a focus on preventing recurrence through robust problem management and ITSM best practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
