Technical Service Manager
Technical Service Manager | Flowbird – Poole
As Arrive, we guide customers and communities towards brighter futures and more livable cities. It’s not a challenge anyone could go alone—our people and values sustain us.
We Arrive curious, focused, and together. Just as our entire brand is inspired by the North Star, our guiding values pull us forward:
- Be at your best for our customers

The Role
Within Flowbird, the Technical Service Manager bridges client relations and the technical execution of operational support ("Run"). In a fast-paced environment, their core responsibility is ensuring seamless maintenance contract delivery while safeguarding—and functionally leading—the technical support team (L2).
Think of this role as both a frontline escalation shield for clients and the operational commander steering problem resolutions.
How To Make An Impact
Your key responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
- Single point of escalation during major incidents, leading technical committees, crisis meetings, and client backlog arbitration.
- Guarantee SLA compliance vigilantly; monitor KPIs to track service quality and operational efficiency.
- Produce analytical trend reports for clients and stakeholders.
- Own the relationship in tense scenarios: manage risks, resolve conflicts, and rebuild trust—even with demanding clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
