Ready to Impact a Better Future?

As a Technical Services Manager in our Healthcare team, you’ll lead the delivery of Hard Facilities Management services across a complex acute hospital environment. You’ll provide technical leadership, ensure compliance with statutory and contractual requirements, and help maintain critical engineering systems that support patient care every day.

Our work touches lives, and this role is central to that purpose. By ensuring hospital infrastructure remains safe, compliant, and operational, you'll create a positive impact for patients, healthcare colleagues, and the wider community. Working closely with NHS partners, specialist contractors, and Serco teams, you’ll help deliver services people can trust while creating impactful solutions that support a better future.

What You’ll Do as a Technical Services Manager

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of Hard Facilities Management services, ensuring maintenance activities support the safe and efficient operation of the hospital.
  • Manage a multidisciplinary technical team, providing leadership, guidance, development, and performance management.
  • Act as the lead for technical compliance, ensuring engineering systems meet all statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
  • Work closely with NHS stakeholders, contractors, Authorising Engineers, and partners to deliver a customer-focused service.
  • Manage maintenance compliance, technical audits, risk registers, asset condition reporting, and lifecycle planning activities.
  • Support budget management, KPI delivery, variation pricing, and continuous service improvement initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
