✈️ Technical Services Manager
Location: Stansted, Essex
Position Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Are you an experienced Technical Services professional looking to step into a leadership role within a well-established aviation maintenance organisation?
We're working with a highly regarded Part 145 MRO seeking a Technical Services Manager to lead a talented team responsible for delivering high-quality engineering documentation, supporting aircraft maintenance operations, and ensuring full regulatory compliance.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with people management, process improvement and customer engagement.
What you'll be doing:
As Technical Services Manager, you'll lead the Technical Services function, ensuring the department consistently delivers accurate, compliant and high-quality technical documentation that enables safe and efficient aircraft maintenance.

Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing the Technical Services team
- Managing engineering work packages and ensuring timely delivery
- Overseeing technical records and maintenance documentation
- Ensuring compliance with Part 145 regulations, company procedures and airworthiness requirements
- Allocating projects and managing team workload
- Managing technical publications and OEM document revisions
- Working closely with Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Stores and customers to deliver an exceptional service
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Previous management experience within a Technical Services environment
- Strong knowledge of Part 145 maintenance operations
- Experience producing or managing engineering work packages and technical documentation
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
