Technical Service Manager – Mailing & Fulfilment

West Yorkshire | Hybrid

Up to £50,000 + Excellent Benefits Package

This is not a traditional IT or production management role. Instead, we're looking for a commercially minded technical specialist who can bridge the gap between clients, sales, account management and operations.

You'll be an expert within the business, supporting client pitches, advising on complex solutions and helping customers understand how data, mailing, fulfilment and communication platforms can be utilised to achieve their objectives. You'll play a key role in shaping solutions, demonstrating capabilities and bringing technical concepts to life.

One of the most exciting aspects of this opportunity is the chance to become the face of the business. Working alongside the Client Services and Sales teams, you'll attend client meetings and pitches, helping prospective and existing customers understand how solutions will work in practice. Whether discussing data-driven communications, postal strategies, fulfilment workflows or platform capabilities, you'll provide the confidence and technical expertise that supports successful client relationships and new business growth.

You'll be someone who enjoys customer interaction just as much as operational excellence, with the ability to explain complex processes in a simple and engaging way.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Client Support

  • Act as the technical expert for client-facing teams
  • Support sales teams with technical advice, feasibility assessments and production recommendations
  • Contribute to client presentations, proposals and complex campaign planning
  • Provide guidance on specifications, mailing options, production methods and cost-effective solutions
  • Work closely with Account Managers to ensure technical requirements are understood and successfully delivered

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
