Role within a production environment
This is a key role within a production environment where we primarily make a range of dairy-free products, including Sheese, Cathedral City products, and retailer own brands.
Role of the Supervisor, Technical Services
The role of the supervisor, technical services is key member within the site food safety and management team, managing and developing site hygiene systems and processes in line with site goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with an engaged and high-potential hygiene team who you'll work closely with to develop and help them to grow within their roles, reaching and exceeding their potential, becoming a multi-skilled and flexible team.
- Managing external services related to hygiene requirements (including laundry, chemical, pest control) and ensure engagement and service levels align to SLAs.
- Monitoring, supporting, and developing the team of hygiene operatives (8-12).
- Leading of validation and verification of hygiene activities.
- Playing a key role in the internal audit team with execution of relevant actions.
- Ensuring health and safety practices are followed.
- Implementing and monitoring ATP testing, allergen positive release, Kosher, foreign body control and monitoring.
- Leading on investigations of out of spec hygiene results and drive for improvements.
- Ensuring CICs and SOPs are kept up to date, reviewed and refreshed, and trained onto the floor.
- Ensuring all production facilities comply with company and retailer hygiene and GMP standards.
- Ensuring an effective listeria management plan is effective and in place.
- Ensuring all records are appropriately allocated and monitored for completion against objectives.
- Collaborating with production and engineering colleagues on hygiene and H&S related issues.

Shift Pattern
Monday-Friday 6pm to 2.40am
You're Best Suited for the Role If You Are
- Experienced within a hygiene leadership position within a heavily regulated production/manufacturing environment.
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of verification and validation of hygiene.
- Experienced training and developing a high-performing team through engagement.
- Able to demonstrate improvements led to hygiene/technical teams and functions.
- Knowledgeable of internal audit processes and requirements.
