Technical Solutions Consultant (Presales)
Manchester (Hybrid – 2/3 days per week)
£40,000–£45,000 Basic + Benefits
I'm recruiting for a growing IT solutions provider looking for a Technical Solutions Consultant to join their presales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around 1+ year's customer-facing technical experience who enjoys working with clients, designing solutions and expanding their technical knowledge.
You'll work alongside sales and technical teams, helping customers design solutions across a broad range of technologies including:
- Infrastructure
- Cloud
- Networking
- Cyber Security
- Modern Workplace

No one expects you to be an expert in every technology. What's important is a solid technical foundation, the ability to understand customer requirements, and the curiosity to keep learning.
You'll be:
- Working with customers to understand their business and technical challenges.
- Supporting the sales team through the presales process.
- Designing high-level technical solutions and proposals.
- Presenting recommendations and guiding customers towards the right solution.
- Collaborating with technical delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes.
My client is looking for someone with:
- Around 1+ year's experience in a customer-facing technical role (Presales, Technical Consultant, Professional Services, Solutions Engineer, Post-Sales or similar).
- A broad understanding of IT infrastructure and related technologies.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A passion for technology and a genuine desire to continue learning.
