About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Technical Solutions Developer to maintain and build high-quality software solutions, develop new systems, integrate with existing platforms, and support internal IT users. From concept and coding to troubleshooting and system improvement, you’ll play a key role in driving innovation across the business.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and customise systems (including our CMS) to meet evolving business needs.
- Build and maintain workflows, forms, reports, APIs, scripts, and integrations.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and contribute innovative solutions to development projects.
- Gather requirements, attend project meetings, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Test, deploy, document, and support system changes, enhancements, and upgrades.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, and quality assurance to ensure system stability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with internal teams (IT, operations, business users) on system improvements and initiatives.
- Liaise with third-party vendors for complex configurations, integrations, and custom development.
- Provide technical support and helpdesk assistance for software, systems, and related issues when required.
- Diagnose, resolve, and escalate system incidents efficiently, including urgent or business-critical issues.
- Maintain accurate system, configuration, and change documentation for future support and maintenance.
- Prepare reports on system performance, usage, and support metrics.
- Assist with system migrations, integrations, and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to the business.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and support ad-hoc duties as required by management.

Requirements
- Full UK Driver license and access to a car for travelling to and working at other sites throughout the week.
- Willingness to learn CMS, SQL Server, Python, HTML, JavaScript and CSS and Python Flask.
- Bachelor’s Degree in an IT or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with providing first and second line support is preferable.
- A technical understanding of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and Office 365.
- Willingness to work with, diagnose problems with and install various software packages.
- Practical experience of a relevant programming language and relational databases.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Good organisational, problem-solving and analytical and technical skills.
- Confident in handling queries, request and calls from all colleagues.
- Self-motivated, proactive and hard working.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal at all levels.
- Excellent general IT skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
- Strong knowledge of database management and system administration.
- Familiarity with system integrations (APIs, web services) and third-party tool integrations.
- Understanding of IT security and data protection principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
- Team player.
