Deliveroo is hiring a Technical Sourcer to play a key role in finding and engaging world-class Product and Design talent across our growing global organisation. This is a high-impact role with a clear mandate to drive pipeline quality, candidate engagement, and strategic sourcing excellence across multiple brands and regions.
You’ll partner closely with recruiters and senior hiring managers, bringing creativity, rigour, and market insight to our most critical searches. This is a proactive role, focused on building pipelines, shaping sourcing strategy, and defining how Deliveroo attracts exceptional Product and Design talent globally.
Role Scope
- Own proactive sourcing for Product Management and Design roles across international regions, primarily in Europe
- Build and maintain deep, high-quality talent pipelines for current and future needs
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to refine requirements and improve strategy
- Design and execute inclusive, creative sourcing strategies to tap into diverse talent pools
- Drive consistency in talent identification and high-level candidate engagement
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing Strategy & Pipeline Development
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies for Product and Design roles at all levels.
- Build sustainable, diverse talent pipelines that anticipate hiring demand rather than reacting to it.
- Leverage market mapping, competitive intelligence, and talent insights to guide sourcing approaches.
Candidate Engagement & Experience
- Craft personalised outreach that reflects Deliveroo’s mission and employer brand.
- Build long-term relationships with passive candidates—going beyond immediate recruitment.
- Champion a high-quality candidate experience, from initial contact to handover.

Stakeholder Partnership
- Serve as a trusted sourcing partner to recruiters and hiring managers, offering market insight and honest calibration.
- Proactively share pipeline health, market feedback, and competitive intelligence with the team.
- Offer constructive feedback when role requirements or expectations need adjustment.
Data & Insight
- Track and report on sourcing funnel metrics to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
- Use data to refine outreach strategy, channel selection, and talent prioritisation.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations for Deliveroo’s recruiting teams.
Inclusion & Hiring Quality
- Embed DEI principles into all stages of sourcing, from search criteria to candidate engagement.
- Actively seek out underrepresented talent and challenge sourcing approaches that may introduce bias.
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience, with a focus on Product Management and/or Design roles in global tech companies.
- Proven ability to build high-quality pipelines for senior/specialist roles via proactive, creative sourcing.
- Strong Boolean search skills, with expertise on LinkedIn and other sourcing platforms.
- Experience sourcing across multiple geographies, alongside regional talent market awareness.
- Skills in crafting personalised, impactful outreach that engages passive candidates.
- Comfort using data to measure effectiveness and continue refining strategies.
- Excellent communicator, able to build trust quickly with candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
