Technical Specialist- Integration

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering highly complex technical tasks required to assure the successful implementation of TrakCare and HealthShare solutions across the UK landscape. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates experienced in InterSystems technology stack or for highly experienced integration experts with substantial NHS and healthcare technology experience.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding team, with a number of exciting and innovative projects, providing a platform to build substantial and complex healthcare solutions that will deliver real benefit to established and new InterSystems healthcare customers.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver and support complex technical implementations and customisations across InterSystems platforms. Analyse enhancement requests, assessing feasibility, risk, and development effort. Provide technical guidance to project managers and implementation teams. Develop, test, troubleshoot, and optimise integrations and platform configurations. Resolve acceptance issues pre- and post–go-live and support live environments. Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation and training materials. Participate in peer reviews, on-site implementations, technical training, and extended support rotas. Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery quality.

Experience Required

Strong technical background in software development, integrations, and data-driven systems. Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, JavaScript), SQL, and database concepts. Experience working in client-facing roles and delivering within fixed timelines. Ability to analyse complex technical problems and communicate solutions clearly. Experience producing technical documentation and delivering technical training. Knowledge of healthcare systems, NHS environments, and integration standards (e.g. HL7, HIE). Desirable experience with InterSystems technologies and cross-platform integrations. Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience, with flexibility to travel and support customers on-site.
