HV Technical Supervisor
A brand new vacancy has arisen due to an internal promotion and contract expansion as an HV Technical Supervisor.
The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.
It will be a No.2 role to the current Technical Manager on a very large, global Data Centre contract.
Requirements:
- The must is – the person must be practicing HV switching, current HV qualification.
- 18th Edition 2nd amendment.
- Level 3 / equivalent electrical qualification.
- Experience in Data Centres.

Responsibilities:
- The role will involve a lot of switching, the site has approx. 500 + HV switches, 50+ transformers, 20+ HV DRUPS.
- Therefore site HV appointment will be a must within first 90 days.
- View to being SAP (No.2) for site in future.
- Technical assistance to the M&E shift teams for breakdowns.
- Permit authorisation.
- Compliance / logbooks responsibility.
- Technical onsite training (site scenario testing, HV Competency testing).

Working Hours:
- Role is 8 til 5 M-F (maybe some O/T, or occasional flexible hours to work around demand).
Compensation:
- Salary – aiming at £62,000 if a suitable / exceptional candidate is out there, this can be accommodated.
- 25 days A/L
- Pension.
Start Date:
- This is a fast moving role, ready to appoint and an ideal start would be March 2026 or April 2026.
