This is a unique opportunity to join a leading proprietary trading firm with an entrepreneurial and innovative culture at the heart of its business. We value quick-witted, creative minds and challenge them to make full use of their capacities.
In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for end-user technical support, providing both remote and on-site assistance across our Windows environment and office infrastructure. You will work closely with senior engineers and collaborate with teams such as Infrastructure, Network, Linux, and SRE to deliver end-to-end IT solutions.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system
- Take ownership of user issues from initial request through to resolution, including logging, prioritizing, categorizing, and updating incidents, problems, and service requests
- Perform remote and on-site troubleshooting of hardware, operating systems, applications, and office infrastructure such as printers, TVs, and security devices using diagnostic techniques also in our datacenters
- Set up and configure user workstations, desks, and office equipment including PCs, monitors, peripherals, printers, and AV systems, as well as running and terminating cables for new network and hardware installations
- Manage user onboarding and offboarding, including desk setups and access provisioning
- Monitor Windows systems, servers, VDI, and enterprise applications proactively, and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate IT teams or third-party vendors
- Maintain asset inventory, ensure storerooms are organized, and coordinate procurement and device lifecycle activities including refresh cycles, hardware fault diagnosis, and warranty management
- Support trading floor operations, including high-priority incident response, trader workstation provisioning, desk relocations, and business-hour continuity
- Manage and support meeting room and AV systems, shared-area infrastructure, and reception technology, including installation, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management
- Create and update knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures, document best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Collect and relay user feedback and support trends to relevant internal teams, acting as an early signal to platform owners and senior engineers on recurring issues and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with senior team members and participate in training across infrastructure domains including networking, servers, cloud, HVAC, and AV systems

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
