Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technical Surveyor to support the mobilisation of new and existing contracts across the UK. This role is vital in ensuring accurate asset data is captured and maintained within Mitie's and clients' CAFM systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality asset data collection across various sites.
- Ensure all asset information is accurately recorded, tagged, and photographed to a professional standard.
- Liaise daily with the Asset Collection Project Supervisor to provide updates and progress reports.
- Support contract teams in reviewing and validating collected asset data.
- Train and assist colleagues and self-delivery teams in asset collection processes.
- Utilise the Asset Care Mobilise tool effectively and provide guidance on its deployment.
- Analyse site drawings, O&Ms, and BMS systems to ensure comprehensive asset capture.
- Identify and report any defects, damages, or maintenance needs during site visits.
- Maintain data integrity by ensuring regular backups and adherence to project scope.
- Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For
- Qualifications: HNC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or 10+ years of relevant experience in asset collection/validation.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of M&E systems, asset lifecycle, and condition monitoring.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- IT Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead by example and support team development.
- Attention to Detail: High standards in data accuracy, presentation, and documentation.
- Health & Safety: Solid knowledge of health and safety practices and compliance.
