Technical Team Lead (DevOps & Infrastructure) – EDV Cleared

Location: London, Manchester or Gloucestershire (5 days onsite)
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits

Our client, a leading organisation delivering highly secure technology solutions within the UK national security sector, is seeking an experienced Technical Team Lead to join a specialist engineering team supporting business-critical platforms.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established technical leader who enjoys combining people leadership with hands-on technical expertise. You'll oversee a team delivering complex DevOps and infrastructure services while remaining closely involved in technical decision-making, solution design, and service improvement.

Due to the nature of the work, candidates must already hold active Enhanced Developed Vetting (EDV) clearance. Unfortunately, applicants without current EDV clearance cannot be considered.

The Role

Working within a secure, high-assurance environment, you'll provide technical leadership across a multidisciplinary delivery team, ensuring the successful delivery of operational services and project work. You'll work closely with stakeholders, technical specialists, and third-party suppliers to maintain service stability, resolve complex technical issues, and drive continuous improvement across the platform.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
