The Role
Be part of a team delivering the next generation of secure military communications satellites for the UK Ministry of Defence.
This work provides resilient, high-performance connectivity for the UK, its allies, and Defence personnel worldwide, playing a critical role in protecting national security as space becomes more contested and demand for secure data continues to grow.

The Opportunity
Lockheed Martin Space are seeking an experienced Training Designer to develop and deliver impactful training solutions.
This is an opportunity to shape the skills & knowledge of our workforce - we are looking for an enthusiastic team member who can bring fresh ideas to training design and delivery.
The individual selected for this role will be responsible for:
- Design & deliver engaging training material to Defence Standards
- Conduct reviews of training documentation in accordance with company and Defence quality standards
- Conduct structured interviews with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to capture training requirements
- Support operational training delivery outputs and wider training team goals.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Training Design experience in Engineering, Defence, Armed Forces, or a similar environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills — confident in front of a room
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to balance priorities
- A proactive, flexible, and motivated approach
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Experience in training design and delivery in accordance with JSP 822

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
