Technical Training Instructor - Industrial & Process Automation
Technical Training Instructor Seniority: Middle Level, Permanent - Full Time Department: ISA Services Delivery Location: UK & Ireland ( Еврорегион, Франция, Дания – консультации по местному спрос) Position Type: Permanent
Mission
As part of the ISA Services Delivery team, the Technical Training Instructor plays a pivotal role in delivering impactful Schneider Electric product training to diverse audiences, including employees, customers, and partners. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EcoStruxure products, this role will actively contribute to the development of new training content and support project execution and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation & Continuous Learning
- Utilise and continually refine learning delivery tools and methodologies
- Prepare and maintain ISA virtual machines and training environments
- Stay updated on industry best practices (e.g., facilitated learning, communities of practice, digital formats)
- Maintain deep expertise in Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure solutions
Training Delivery
- Deliver technical training via virtual and in-person formats
- Support learners pre-, during, and post-instructor-led and self-paced sessions
- Adapt training content for global audiences and time zones
- Pilot and evaluate training materials to ensure quality and effectiveness
Training Development
- Identify audience needs to ensure project readiness and customer satisfaction
- Review and validate course content for technical accuracy
- Develop training materials, including:
- Demonstration content
- Lab exercises
- Assessment modules
Commercial & Stakeholder Support
- Represent the ISA team in the UK & Ireland as a key technical and commercial contact
- Address technical and commercial inquiries from internal teams and customers
- Support pricing, costing, and quotation processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments, including:
- Sales
- Project management
- Finance
- Participate in commercial events and represent the ISA organisation

Skills and Attributes
Experience & Knowledge
- Proven experience in:
- Configuring, building, or maintaining process automation systems
- Service delivery in customer-facing environments
- Consulting or solutioning (advantageous)
- Ability to explain complex technical topics in an engaging and interactive manner
Soft Skills
- Strong verbal communication skills, with a clear, structured, and professional style
- Proficiency in using diverse communication tools (e.g., email, messaging platforms, virtual meeting solutions)
- Collaborative mindset with active listening skills
- Self-motivated and well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Flexible (international travel and accommodating time zones for training delivery)
- Additional European language skills (advantageous)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or relevant equivalent)
