We are currently recruiting for a field-based Technical Training Lead in the South, with training being delivered on site at Head office in Sittingbourne. The patch includes: the Home Counties and South West Counties. Can you say yes? Do you have previous experience in the drywall or wider building industry? Do you hold PTLLS, AET, or an equivalent teaching/training qualification? Do you hold a full UK driving license? If so we would welcome your application. What you'll be doing: You will be expected to work closely with customers in our value chain, performing various types of technical training, and support (System build /compliance /SMS) and reporting back to the customer. You will also be expected to lead and perform practical demonstrations of products and deliver high quality CPD’s or product training to professionals in the drywall industry, aiming to always offer the best technical advice service. Promote Knauf products and systems, and the Knauf Technical Academy in a professional and articulate manner; through social media, customer interactions, presentations and site compliance inspections and reporting. Supporting R&D and Technical Development team by applying trade-based insights and skills to guide project teams, along side supporting Marketing and Manufacturing teams. Provide support for trade events, Airless demonstrations and Knauf training sessions. Completing site compliance reports if visiting sites. Inspire, Knauf customers through high-quality teaching and learning and facilitate honest, productive conversations about how to support our customers. Deliver CPD’s / Training / demonstrations / Toolbox Talks to various stakeholders; Cat A customers, construction colleges, Architects, main contractors etc. Create and control new CPD’s and training courses to address skills gap and industry understanding, including flexible agendas and workshops. Be responsible for creating training diaries, managing booking CPD’s / training, toolbox talks for the region in line with KPI expectations. Staying current with the standards (BS 8000-8) and building regulations applicable. Support the case management process through investigation, feedback to relevant stakeholders and by supporting the claims team ( including insurance provider stakeholders). Support product testing at independent laboratories and provide necessary feedback to the relevant departments to ensure success. Regular use of and including storage of Site reports on CRM (Customer Relationship Management system) and project data capture. Actively drive improvements to the External Technical Team and wider Technical Team. What we'd love for you to have: Previous experience within the drywall / building industry Trained to PTLLS , AET or equivalent Full UK drivers license IT literate and able to use digital social media, Microsoft platforms Efficient diary management We will provide: A competitive salary of around £40,000 + package 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) Three paid days leave for community, charitable, or voluntary commitments. 7% employer pension contribution.
