Technical Training Specialist (EMEA Focused) – UK
Location: Remote (50% travel within EMEA region)
Company: Fieldpiece – Rugged, innovative tools for HVACR professionals.
About the Role
Fieldpiece is seeking an experienced Technical Training Specialist to join our growing EMEA Training Team in the UK. You’ll support sales teams and Fieldpiece distributors by creating, organizing, and delivering technical training programs tailored for HVACR technicians across the region.
This role offers unique responsibility—acting as the regional training expert, you’ll publish high-quality training content, build trusted partnerships, and elevate Fieldpiece’s reputation as a leading HVAC/R brand.
The position is remote with 50% travel, including an allotted company vehicle or car allowance.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Fieldpiece’s primary technical training representative in EMEA.
- Design and develop:
- Technical training content, presentations, curricula, and hands-on materials.
- Engaging digital, video, or online learning content.
- Deliver technical product and application training to:
- Distributors, training centers, contractors, and industry professionals.
- Sales teams and internal partners.
- Enhance partner relationships by:
- Supporting and growing existing Fieldpiece training centers.
- Identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new training center partners.
- Cultivating the Fieldpiece Training Ambassador network.
- Provide continuing technical training and support to:
- Fieldpiece’s global Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Technical Support teams.
- Industry stakeholders at trade shows, demos, and events.
- Maintain expert-level expertise in:
- HVAC/R applications, industry trends, and Fieldpiece solutions.

Requirements
| Experience | Explanation |

| HVACR, test & measurement, or professional tools industry | Related background preferred. |
| 2+ years: Developing technical training content, curricula, and workshops. | Curriculum design, presentations, learning materials. |
| 3+ years: Delivering technical trainings, classroom instruction, and demo-led learning for professional audiences. | Engaging and practical training experience. |
| Strong alignment between technical expertise and teaching ability. | Ability to simplify complex concepts for learners. |
| Excellent communication, speaking, and presentation skills. | Corporate and field training environments. |
| Relationship-building with distributors, industry partners, and contractors. | Trusted consultancy mindset. |
| Project and time management skills. | Juggling virtual and onsite training engagements. |
| Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and presentation software. | Digital content creation. |
| Valid driver’s license + willingness to travel 50%+ of the time. | Regional support and event attendance. |
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on product demo experience (trade shows, labs, field settings).
- Instructional design expertise (adult learning principles).
- Experience collaborating with distributors, manufacturers, or technical schools.
