Technician

What You Can Expect

####(Main Activities)

  • Deliver and position high-value medical devices such as CTs, MRIs, X-ray systems
  • Run system cables and make final connections
  • Install & align system covers
  • Liaise with project coordinators on job preparation
  • Work closely with client project teams on-site to ensure smooth project completion
  • Coordinate with third parties on-site (e.g., crane lifting)
  • General driving/delivery duties within the UK and Europe
    • Loading and unloading vehicles
    • Delivery, off-loading, and positioning as required
  • Manual handling, carrying, and lifting of customer equipment
  • Safe use of specialist handling equipment
  • Completing delivery paperwork, timesheets, and other required documentation
  • Assistance with Tech Centre duties as needed
    • Preparation of demo equipment (e.g., C-Arms, Incubators)
    • Undertaking Break/Fix, Service, and Maintenance jobs (non-medical)
  • Other tasks as required

What You Bring

####(Key Skills & Experience)

  • Aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Experience in mechanical or electrical installations
  • Fully licenced experienced driver (clean licence required)
  • Highly flexible with hours, prepared for regular travel away from home
  • Willingness to work up to 2 weekends per month (overtime paid)
  • Ability to complete timesheets and paperwork
  • General Microsoft Word & Excel proficiency
  • Experience in direct customer contact, with strong communication skills
  • A good team player with a "can-do" attitude, capable of working independently
  • Basic good education level
