Vehicle Technician
42.5 hour week | 1 in 4 Saturdays | OTE £42,400

Earnings and Progression
- Competitive basic salary: £32,000–£37,000 (dependent on qualifications)
- On-target earnings: £37,400–£42,400
- Career progression potential up to £51,400 OTE as skills and experience develop
- Structured career and training pathway
Working Pattern
- Full-time role
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
- Saturday mornings, 1 in 4 rotation (8:30 AM–12:30 PM)
About the Technician Role
As a Vehicle Technician at Williams Motor Group, you’ll be responsible for:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and diagnostics on vehicles
- Ensuring all work meets safety and manufacturer standards
- Supporting a skilled and collaborative workshop team
- Delivering consistent quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

Responsibilities
- Perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance to a high standard
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using computer-based tools
- Repair or replace faulty components efficiently and safely
- Conduct road testing to confirm repairs are completed correctly
- Follow manufacturer checklists and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and professional standards in tools, equipment, and workshops
- Keep accurate job records and follow workplace processes
- Work collaboratively to meet targets for quality and efficiency
Requirements
- Full, valid UK driving licence
- City & Guilds Level 3 or IMI Level 3 qualification (Level 2 experience also considered)
- Strong communication skills
- Team-focused approach
- Proactive and positive attitude
- Genuine pride in quality workmanship
