We are looking for a skilled Technician to join our Base Maintenance team. In this role, you will carry out a range of scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance tasks, ensuring all work meets regulatory and company airworthiness standards. Working closely with Certifying Engineers and the Shift Manager, you will play a vital part in supporting safe, efficient operations and ensuring our customer commitments are met.

What you'll be doing
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance tasks, including component changes, structural repairs and wiring repairs, under direction and guidance.
- Ensure all tasks are completed safely and in accordance with approved maintenance documentation and regulatory standards.
- Maintain responsibility for tools, materials and equipment used during tasks, ensuring they are used appropriately and stored correctly.
- Keep the working area clean, safe and compliant at all times.
- Develop understanding and awareness of GCIS IT maintenance systems.
- Uphold and promote company values, behaviours and policies within daily work.
- Engage positively within a Just Culture environment and support team wellbeing.
- Undertake any additional duties as required by the Shift Manager.

What you'll bring
- Completed Aircraft Maintenance Apprenticeship or Mechanical/Electrical Training Qualification.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Aircraft Base Maintenance.
- Strong understanding of working within a team-based, zonal maintenance structure.
- Able to support Certifying Staff to ensure delivery within required timeframes.
- Experience responding to AOG events and working in deployed or short-notice environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to drive positive outcomes.
