About the Role
We are looking for a practical, reliable, and motivated Technician to join our growing team. The role involves travelling to customer sites throughout the UK to carry out floor slip-resistance testing and producing detailed Technician Reports. The position offers a great balance of fieldwork, customer interaction, and technical reporting. You’ll be trained by experienced technicians and supported by our friendly office team.

While the role is primarily field-based, you’ll work from home when not visiting client sites, with occasional attendance at company meetings and training days. The role requires flexibility of working hours on weekdays, with some early starts and out-of-hours testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to client sites across the UK to carry out slip-resistance (floor safety) testing.
- Operate testing machines and equipment following company procedures and standards.
- Accurately record data and observations during on-site assessments.
- Interact professionally and positively with customers while on-site.
- Produce clear and accurate written reports summarising findings.
- Manage schedules to accommodate early starts, travel, and frequent out-of-hours testing.
Skills & Experience
- Practical, hands-on approach and ability to use testing machinery (training provided).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good written English and basic IT skills for report preparation.
- Full Clean UK driving licence (essential).
- Flexibility with working hours and overnight stays when required.
