Do you love technology, game development, and helping others bring creative ideas to life?
LCCA is looking for a passionate and hands-on Games Technician to support our students and academic teams in delivering exceptional creative and technical learning experiences.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a growing Games department, supporting cutting-edge software, specialist resources, workshops, and studio activities while helping students develop the skills needed to succeed in the games industry.
What You'll Do
- Support students and academics with specialist software, hardware, equipment, and technical resources
- Assist with workshops, inductions, demonstrations, and practical sessions
- Maintain studios, equipment, inventories, and learning spaces to a professional standard
- Troubleshoot technical issues and help create a seamless learning experience
- Support student showcases, exhibitions, open days, and industry events

What We're Looking For
You will have:
- A relevant degree or equivalent industry experience
- Strong practical expertise in Unreal Engine and real-time game development workflows
- Proficiency with industry-standard games development tools, including:
- Autodesk Maya
- Blender
- Substance 3D Painter
- Adobe Creative Cloud
- Visual Studio
- Perforce, Git, or equivalent professional production tools
- Experience supporting technical delivery within a creative, educational, or industry environment
- Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
- A genuine passion for games, creative technologies, and student success
