Are you looking for a role which involves supporting College students in Engineering courses?

Do you have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Engineering Industry that you would like to pass onto the next generation?

Would you like to support tutors in helping students achieve?

If yes, this could be the role for you!

This role will support the Engineering department. You will prepare work areas and materials for student classes and assessment activities, ensuring materials are prepared for practical classes and maintain accurate stock levels. In addition, you will ensure the resources and tools are stored securely and work in line with the current legislation, codes of practice, and College policies.

The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Have strong communication skills
  • Hold a Level 2 English and Math (GCSE’s or Functional Skills)
  • Have basic IT skills
  • Hold a Level 2 qualification, in relevant subject
  • Hold a First Aid Certificate - desirable
  • Have experience of working with young people in a busy workshop environment - desirable
