Technician (Mechanical and Electrical)
The Technician is responsible for defined maintenance activities in the Production / Site. The role maintains the machines based on preventive and predictive maintenance concept. It is responsible for troubleshooting technical problems and solving these problems using the DDS approach & root cause analysis. The Technician supports and coaches the operators / colleagues in handling technical issues in the RST and Site.
About the Role
- Role Model for Safety: Responsible for maintaining & troubleshooting the technology in their area of responsibility.
- Zero-Breakdown & Zero-Stop-Mentality: Works towards reducing the maintenance costs including working capital reduction for spare parts.
- Ownership: Takes ownership for the overall site and working area.
- Monitoring: Especially monitors the maintenance measurements like breakdowns & has a strong service-department mindset towards the operations / other departments.
- Standards: Works to standards and assures the team works to it (Safety, Quality, CL, CILs… etc) and secures the availability of standard technical documentation.
- Tools: Works securely with the expert maintenance tools (SAP-PM, SOP’S) and trains the teams in those.
- Root-Cause Analysis: Performs high quality root-cause analysis for technical- and process-problems.
- Improvements: Supports & suggests and implements improvements (e.g. Safety, Technology, Process) and assures legal compliance on maintenance works.
