Technician – London/Hybrid (Typically 1 Day per Week in Office)

Location: London/Hybrid Type: Full-time, Permanent (Flexible working options including job sharing, reduced hours, etc. welcome—please apply to discuss)

Key Responsibilities

The ultimate objective of this role is to improve end-to-end operations for Clients and Brokers/Account Executives, including:

  • Delivering Broker Support activities aligned with the Ardonagh model
  • Overseeing third-party service providers, fostering collaboration
  • Maintaining awareness of processes across IBA (Insurer Business Alliance), Premium Processing, Claims, and middle office functions

Core Tasks

  • Processing amenities:
    • Prepare Quotes, MRCs, Certificates, Endts to meet compliance standards and internal/external processes
    • Ensure market approvals via Whitespace for MRCs/endorsements
  • Premium processing:
    • Manage the premium processing function, supporting frontline technicians with query resolution
  • Third-party support:
    • Train and monitor service providers for compliance and efficiency
  • Placement management:
    • Maintain accurate risk records in GXB/Placement Hub/Harmonie
    • Utilise market & internal systems for streamlined placements
  • File audits & compliance:
    • Collaborate with File Review & Internal Audit teams
  • Risk oversight:
    • Own assigned risks, deadlines (e.g., warranties, subjectivities, NOCs), and compliance deadlines
  • Process improvement:
    • Resolution of Cash & Credit Control issues with Clients/Brokers
    • Propose process enhancements based on root cause analysis

    • Business Entity Team
    • IBA
    • Premium Processing
    • Claims
  • Ensure adherence to compliance frameworks, including:

    • Contract Certainty
    • Client & Market Due Diligence
    • KPIs
    • Audit processes
    • Authorisation matrix

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Knowledge

  • Class-specific expertise, preferably in North American Property (other lines considered)
  • Adaptability: Willing to learn new tasks/lines of business
