Maintain & Optimise Heathrow’s Track Transit System
Be at the core of Heathrow’s Track Transit System (TTS), where you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and optimising the specialist equipment that keeps airport operations running smoothly.
In this hands-on position, you’ll apply a broad, multi-skilled approach across our track transit system and pods. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the reliability and performance of critical assets within a high-demand, fast-paced setting.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Delivering both planned and corrective maintenance
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Supporting project delivery and asset replacement programmes to enhance operational efficiency and resilience
Working within a forward-thinking and innovative environment, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team focused on safety, performance, and excellence, ensuring the seamless operation of one of the world’s busiest airports.

Salary & Compensation
You’ll earn a starting salary of £46,345–£49,584, with long-term career progression linked to future technical competencies and skill achievements.
Additional benefits include:

Working Arrangements
- Location: Airport-based
- Shift pattern: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off
