Mechanical Technicians
Contract Duration: 6 month rolling contract (potential to go perm)
Location: York
Pay Rates:
- Umbrella Pay Rate: £26.07 per hour
- PAYE Pay Rate: £20.93 per hour
Shifts:
- Monday - Thursday 10 hour shifts
Role Overview:
You will be undertaking maintenance and modification duties as a T3 Technician, working across various rolling stock fleets whilst adhering to Siemens processes, procedures and safety standards:
- Mechanical modification including removing engines and pipe work.
Knowledge & Experience
- Experience in a mechanical/electrical engineering or process environment
- Experience of fault finding
- Ability to complete all records of actions and operations accurately and to procedures
- Ability to understand and care for tools, equipment and PPE
- Knowledge of Health & Safety including bio hazards, manual handling and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
- Ability to use a computer
- Ability to understand and interpret relevant technical publications
- Ability to produce detailed complex, analytical technical reports
