Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Technician role based at our Portsmouth workshop. You’ll be responsible for performing routine servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on premium vehicles in line with manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform vehicle inspections and fault diagnostics using OEM diagnostic tools and software. • Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance for Jaguar, Land Rover, and Range Rover vehicles with attention to detail. • Use technical documentation and follow manufacturer procedures for every job. • Document work completed accurately, including details of faults, repairs, and parts used. • Collaborate with service advisors to provide clear, professional consultations to customers. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment, adhering to health and safety protocols. • Support continuous improvement of workshop processes and client experience enhancement. • Stay up-to-date with brand-specific training and certifications as required. • Contribute to a team culture built on transparency, excellence, and craftsmanship.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
✔ Automotive technical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair) or similar. ✔ Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repair, preferably with premium or performance brands. ✔ Experience with Jaguar, Land Rover, or Range Rover will be advantageous. ✔ Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, manufacturer service systems, and technical documentation. ✔ Excellent problem-solving skills when troubleshooting complex issues.

Essential Practical Skills
⚠️ Valid UK driving licence and a faultless driving record. ⚠️ Willingness to undertake further brand-specific training as part of your development. 🚗 Previous experience in an authorised service center or dealership is beneficial but not mandatory.
