Job Description: Help Build the Future of Engineering Operations
Do you love solving messy operational problems, making sense of complex systems, and building scalable ways of working where none currently exist?
We’re looking for a Technology Analyst – Operations to help shape and mature Engineering Operations within a large-scale SaaS environment. This isn’t a "keep the lights on" operations role—it’s an opportunity to help define how operational excellence works across Engineering.
You’ll partner with Engineering, DevOps, Product, and Support teams to improve:
- Application health visibility
- Service reliability
- Operational analytics
- Core operational processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management)
If you get excited about dashboards, telemetry, system behavior, operational trends, process design, automation, AI-enabled workflows, and turning chaos into clarity—this role was built for you.
What You’ll Be Working On
Improve Application Health & Reliability
You’ll help Engineering teams answer critical questions like:
- Is the application healthy?
- Are services degrading before customers notice?
- What operational signals matter most?
- How do we reduce noise while improving visibility?
You’ll work with observability and monitoring platforms to:
- Build dashboards and service health reporting
- Analyze operational trends and performance patterns
- Improve alert quality and escalation logic
- Support implementation of APM and telemetry capabilities
- Help Engineering teams operationalize reliability practices
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
