About the Role
Intellias is looking for a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as Technology Director, with a strong business and technology background in Data, Cloud, and AI/ML as well as business acumen in Retail. As the technology ‘lighthouse person’, they will be the technology evangelist towards existing and new customers. This role will work closely with delivery, sales, pre-sales, and technology practices, in line with the ambition to grow the business and become a leading global technology partner. Among other topics, the scope of work also includes cutting-edge technology trends awareness, thought leadership, and contribution to technology partnerships. We are looking for an experienced leader with hands-on technical background and a proven track record in the same/similar Director level role in a well-established outsourcing company.
Requirements:
- Proven experience at the Director level or equivalent within a large outsourcing or technology consulting organization
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, technology leadership, consulting, or CTO-level roles
- Strong background in data platforms, cloud architectures, and AI or ML applied to real business use cases
- Solid understanding of retail business models and large-scale enterprise environments
- Deep understanding of solution architecture and end-to-end software delivery, including product management, business analysis, and UX at scale
- Ability to engage and influence senior client stakeholders, including C-level, through clear communication and structured thinking
- Experience operating in complex, global, and uncertain environments with multiple stakeholders
- Strong leadership presence with a pragmatic, outcome-driven mindset
- Clear understanding of modern technology trends and distributed systems
- Self-driven, able to operate independently while collaborating across teams

Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the overall technology strategy for the assigned retail account
- Act as the senior technology partner and trusted advisor for the client, translating business challenges into technology direction
- Ensure delivery success across the portfolio by guiding architecture, technical decisions, and long-term platform evolution
- Work closely with account, delivery, and sales leaders to grow revenue, expand scope, and strengthen client relationships
- Lead and influence pre-sales, up-sale, and solution shaping activities for existing and new engagements
- Drive solution design, POCs, and accelerators that increase competitiveness and client confidence
- Build and develop cloud and technology partnerships relevant to the retail domain
- Extend and evolve Intellias technology offerings with new services and capabilities
- Contribute to corporate technology strategy and R&D direction

This is not a Delivery Director or Program Management role. We are specifically looking for a deeply technical leader with strong architecture credibility and hands-on expertise in Cloud, Data, and AI/ML platforms within large-scale enterprise environments.
