About the Role
Our Technology group is looking for the risk-takers, the collaborators, the inspired and the inspirational. We want the people who are brave enough to work at the cutting edge and create solutions. The Technology & Manufacturing group is seeking a dynamic and driven Marketing professional with a strong knowledge of systems level integration to join our team in Edinburgh, Scotland. This individual will work closely with our Advanced Technology team to drive innovation and adoption of our differentiated GaN solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and support innovation opportunities for our GaN Power & Sensor solutions across a range of consumer applications
- Collaborate with Cirrus Logic Fellows and VP’s across the company to innovate and drive novel solutions to key industry challenges
- Craft and articulate the value proposition which will be carried to customers and the market, collaborating across product teams where appropriate
- Promote and drive adoption of future-generation sensor technologies
- Monitor and analyze consumer electronics market trends to inform business strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Cirrus Business Units in Austin and Edinburgh, to support product roadmaps and strategic planning
- Define go-to-market strategies including product positioning and pricing
- Represent Cirrus at industry events and conferences; present whitepapers and gather market intelligence
- Creation of Market Requirement Documents via primary Market Research and in-depth customer & competitive knowledge
- Lead new concept investigations working closely with Advanced Technology team to conduct feasibility studies and competitive technical analysis - including lab-based analysis and teardowns - to inform product development and strategic decision-making

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (or equivalent), with strong foundational EE skills
- Proven analytical and communication skills, and able to influence technical direction
- Collaborative mindset and logical approach to problem-solving across functional boundaries
- Experience working directly with customers and translating market needs into engineering solutions
- Able to manage competing priorities and thrive in fast-paced environments
- Comfortable presenting technical content to wide audiences up to Executive Leadership level
- Domestic and international travel required
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in semiconductor product definition, system architecture, or mixed-signal design for Power or Sensor applications.
- Work with cross-functional engineering teams to define performance and system level requirements, create detailed documentation, and effectively communicate product and program details directly with key customers
- Analytical skill to work with benchmark data and competitor data and extract high value insights; excellent attention to detail

Location
This position is based in our Edinburgh office, UK
You must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment with Cirrus Logic.
Export Control
