About the Role
You’ve made it through your first year—sometimes two—in recruitment. You’ve mastered the basics, navigated challenges, and landed deals. Now it’s time to go beyond, create impact, and grow in a business that aligns with your ambitions.
Empiric is a multi-award-winning specialist Technology recruitment consultancy with a global network across Europe and the USA. Over two decades, we’ve cultivated a reputation as a market leader— régulièrement featured in the Sunday Times Top 100 Companies and ranked the #1 Best Mid-Sized Company to Work For. If your current role feels confined, slow-paced, or unchallenging, here’s how you’ll scale things up.
Why Make the Move?
- Industry-leading earning potential: Strong DOE base salary with a genuinely uncapped commission—designed for high performers who want to maximise earnings.
- A platform, not just a desk: Access to a best-in-industry tech stack, connections across 40+ countries, and instant warm relationships with leading global tech brands.
- Faster career progression: Clear, structured career paths—teams regularly promoted within 6-12 months of joining.
- Specialist expertise: Work within nitche tech markets, where the team deeply understands the tech landscape, not just job titles.
- Culture that fuels ambition: Fully-staffed office bar, DJ booth, golf simulator and F1 simulator, company trips (skiing, Mexico trips), Michelin-star dining, and VIP access to major sporting events.
- Sustainable flexibility: Hybrid working model, earlier finishes, and genuine welfare support—performance matters, but burnout doesn’t.
- L&D that refines your skills: Our dedicated Learning & Development team won’t start you from scratch. Instead, they’ll hone your existing knowledge and fill any gaps to enhance your expertise.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
