Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Technology Partner Specialist, you will cultivate trusted advisor relationships with IBM Business Partners and orchestrate joint strategic planning to drive overall IBM revenue growth, wallet share expansion, and technical enablement planning. You will co-create business growth plans and gain Partner C-Level support for joint growth initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Develop Trusted Advisor Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with IBM Business Partners, establishing trust and credibility to drive joint business growth and strategic planning.
  • Orchestrate Joint Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Partners to develop and execute joint business plans, aligning IBM capabilities and resources to accelerate Partners' go-to-market success with IBM Technology offerings.
  • Co-Create Business Growth Plans: Work closely with Partners to identify opportunities and create tailored growth plans, gaining C-Level support for joint initiatives and ensuring alignment with IBM's overall business strategy.
  • Drive Technical Enablement Planning: Bring together IBM resources and capabilities to support Partners' technical enablement, enabling them to effectively sell and deliver IBM Technology offerings.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Technology Industry Knowledge: Experience with the technology industry, including trends, challenges, and key players, to inform joint strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
  • Business Planning Expertise: Experience in developing and executing business plans, with a focus on driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
  • Technical Enablement Understanding: Experience with technical enablement planning, including knowledge of IBM Technology offerings and how they can be effectively sold and delivered through Partners.
  • Relationship Building Skills: Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with senior-level executives, establishing trust and credibility to drive joint business growth.
  • IBM Capabilities and Resources: Experience working with IBM capabilities and resources, including knowledge of how to bring them together to support Partners' go-to-market success.
