Technology Sourcing Specialist (6 month contract) £315 a day inside IR35
Location: London
Working Model: Hybrid
Compensation: Competitive Day Rate
We're partnering with a high-growth, global technology business looking for an experienced Technology Sourcing Specialist to support the sourcing, procurement, and onboarding of software and technology suppliers across the organisation.
This is an opportunity to work closely with Engineering, Product, Security, Legal, and Finance teams, leading the sourcing process from initial business request through to contract negotiation, supplier onboarding, and enterprise adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activities for software, SaaS, and technology suppliers.
- Manage supplier onboarding, purchase order processes, and sourcing governance.
- Coordinate proof of concepts (POCs) and supplier evaluations across multiple stakeholders.
- Negotiate commercial agreements including MSAs, SOWs, software licensing, and service contracts.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Security, Legal, and Finance to deliver efficient sourcing outcomes.
- Build strong supplier relationships while identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and commercial value.
- Track sourcing projects, renewals, and supplier activity, ensuring key milestones are delivered.
- Support continuous improvement of sourcing processes and procurement best practice.

About You
You'll have experience sourcing technology vendors within a fast-paced commercial environment and be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
We're particularly interested in candidates with:
- 3+ years' experience in technology sourcing, IT procurement, or strategic sourcing.
- Experience negotiating SaaS, software licensing, and technology supplier contracts.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, working across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience partnering with Engineering, Product, Security, Legal, and Finance functions.
- Commercial negotiation experience with a focus on delivering value and managing supplier risk.
- Familiarity with procurement platforms such as Coupa, Zip, Ironclad, Monday.com, or similar is advantageous.
