Technology Strategy Manager – Health & Public Services

Location: London, Manchester or Edinburgh (Hybrid)
Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

We're partnering with a leading global consulting organisation to recruit an experienced Technology Strategy Manager to join their growing Health & Public Services consulting practice.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of business strategy and emerging technology, helping some of the UK's largest healthcare and public sector organisations define and deliver complex digital transformation programmes.

You'll advise senior executives on how technology can accelerate organisational performance, improve citizen and patient outcomes, and create long-term business value.

The Role

You'll lead strategy engagements for major public sector and healthcare organisations, working directly with C-suite stakeholders to shape technology-enabled transformation.

Projects typically include:

  • Technology strategy development
  • Digital transformation roadmaps
  • Cloud strategy and migration planning
  • AI and emerging technology adoption
  • Operating model design
  • Technology investment business cases
  • Enterprise transformation programmes
  • CIO advisory engagements

You'll lead multidisciplinary consulting teams, manage client relationships, and play a key role in developing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex technology strategy and transformation engagements
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and executive leadership teams
  • Develop technology strategies aligned to wider business objectives
  • Identify opportunities for value creation through technology innovation
  • Produce compelling business cases and investment recommendations
  • Design transformation roadmaps and future operating models
  • Facilitate executive workshops and strategic decision-making sessions
  • Mentor and develop consulting team members
  • Support business development activities including proposals, bids and client presentations
  • Contribute thought leadership across emerging technologies and industry trends

About You

We're looking for experienced technology strategy consultants who combine strong commercial awareness with excellent stakeholder management skills.

You'll ideally have experience in:

  • Technology strategy consulting
  • Digital transformation
  • Large-scale technology change programmes
  • Health, NHS or Public Sector environments
  • Executive stakeholder engagement
  • Business case development
  • Technology operating models
  • Cloud, AI or wider emerging technologies
