TechOps Generalist - 12 Month FTC

TechOps Generalist – Join Kraken’s Mission to Shape Sustainable Energy

"Help us use technology to make a big green dent in the universe!"

Kraken powers innovation in global energy with a smart, sustainable system. We optimise renewable generation, enhance grid intelligence, and empower utilities to deliver outstanding customer experiences through a transformative operating system for energy—driving change worldwide.

We’re at an exciting juncture in energy transformation. Join us in shaping a better, more sustainable future.

About the Role

Kraken’s TechOps is a modern, lean alternative to traditional enterprise IT. Spanning frontline support, technical projects, and strategic improvements, our small but highly effective team is scaling Kraken securely and safely with people at the heart of everything.

This broad, highly varied role blends identity, devices, SaaS, networking, automation, and infrastructure—handling ambiguity and turning it into action. Our fully cloud-based operations expose you to cutting-edge, industry-relevant tools.

As a TechOps Generalist, you’ll be instrumental in day-to-day service delivery, technical decision-making, and shaping TechOps as we grow. Crave ownership? You’ll find it here.

TechOps thrives on empathy. A big portion of your time will be spent directly supporting Kraken employees—anticipating their needs, solving real-world problems, and ensuring technology empowers people rather than hinders them. Friendship and support take priority over SLAs and metrics.

Our vision? Seamless, human-centric technology that disappears into the background—right when it matters most.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the versatile catalyst keeping Kraken’s tech infrastructure running smoothly while driving long-term progress:

  • Provide end-to-end support
    • Deliver 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line tech support across the business

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
