Telecom Security
Responsibilities
We are seeking a Telecom Security Engineer with specialized expertise in 5G network and O-RAN architecture, coupled with a deep understanding of 3GPP standardization and O-RAN specifications. Your primary responsibility will involve implementing security measures within 5G RAN, Open RAN, and Mobile Core that are meticulously aligned with both O-RAN Alliance OpenRAN and 3GPP standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate 3GPP and O-RAN specifications into actionable security mechanisms for 5G RAN, O-RAN and 5G core networks
- Implement and configure the security mechanisms (such as encryption, authentication, authorization and access control) to safeguard data transmitted over O-RAN and 5G Core interfaces.
- Develop JOTS Compliant solutions in both O-RAN and 3GPP environments for commercial deployment.
- Conduct penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities on RAN and Core network and recommend remediation measures.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' working experience within enterprise networking
- In-Depth technical understanding of 5G architecture and O-RAN network
- Must have a good working and implementing knowledge of the following protocols and technologies – IPSec, VPN, TCP/IP, SSL, TLS, IDS / IPS, SSH, SNMP, NTP
- Knowledge of security tools and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, and SIEM
- Development and scripting skills required (Python, Powershell scripting or Shell scripts preferred)
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such CEH, CISSP, CCNA Security
