Telecom Project Manager

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Central London

Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days remote)

Salary: Up to £65,000 (DOE)


The Role

  • Lead the delivery of telecom and network infrastructure projects from planning through to successful implementation.
  • Oversee global colocation migrations and data centre transformation initiatives.
  • Manage Layer 2 Point-to-Point connectivity projects for enterprise customers.
  • Coordinate network and telecoms equipment installations, migrations, and upgrades across global data centres, particularly throughout the Middle East and Asia.
  • Ensure the seamless movement of services between data centres, maintaining uninterrupted business operations.
  • Take ownership of equipment procurement, logistics management, deployment coordination, and service activation.
  • Work closely with engineering teams, vendors, suppliers, and senior stakeholders to keep projects on track.
  • Identify risks early, remove blockers, and drive projects through to completion with urgency and accountability.
  • Deliver clear communication and reporting to executive stakeholders, ensuring complete project visibility.
  • Support both BAU activities and special strategic projects across the business.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' experience delivering telecoms, network infrastructure, or connectivity projects.
  • Experience delivering colocation & data centre relocation projects across the Middle East and Asia.
  • Strong understanding of telecom technologies, including fibre, IP networking, CPE, and enterprise connectivity solutions.
  • Experience managing data centre deployments, migrations, or colocation projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple vendors, suppliers, and third-party partners globally.
  • Comfortable operating in complex environments with changing priorities and ambiguity.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior business leaders and customers.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including procurement, logistics, and resource management.
  • Experience delivering projects that require detailed coordination across international teams and locations.
  • Experience working in a high-growth telecoms, technology, or startup environment.
  • Exposure to fibre rollout programmes.
  • Experience with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft project tools, HubSpot, or other project management platforms.
