Role: Telecommunications Specialist (Remote)

Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)
Job Type: Contract
Payout: $20 - $75/hour

Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Telecommunications Expert to work on a contract basis. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunications systems and infrastructure. The position requires expertise in network architecture, system integration, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and optimize telecommunications networks, including VoIP, SIP, and PSTN systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate telecommunications solutions with existing IT infrastructure.
  • Perform network monitoring, diagnostics, and issue resolution to ensure minimal downtime and maximum reliability.
  • Configure and manage telecommunications hardware, including routers, switches, and gateways.
  • Document network configurations, policies, and procedures for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunications engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in VoIP, SIP, and PSTN protocols and technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of network architecture, routing, and switching.
  • Experience with telecommunications hardware such as routers, switches, and gateways.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.
