We are currently recruiting a Telecoms Administrator to join our friendly Head Office team in Stockport. This is a busy and responsible role, ideal for someone with an organised approach to problem-solving who can provide great customer service. You will coordinate the purchasing and management of telecoms for the organisation, including mobiles, landlines, and broadband. This will require a confident individual who is proactive in identifying and following up faults, user problems, and billing issues. You will be accountable for your own caseload whilst working flexibly as part of a wider team.
In addition, you will provide first-line support for basic IT and connectivity issues. This will include setting up and maintaining networked printers, troubleshooting Wi-Fi and connectivity problems, and liaising with external suppliers or internal teams where required to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
Prior experience in a customer service, administrative, or person-facing role is essential. This is an ideal position for a trainee, graduate, or telecoms engineer with a genuine interest in telecommunications. You will have the ability to input data accurately and maintain up-to-date records. A good standard of numeracy and literacy is required, and you must be competent in IT, including Excel and maintaining a database.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
