The Role

Telecoms is one of our key strategic product areas, with significant growth plans over the next five years, and this role sits right at the heart of that journey.

As our Telecoms Commercial Growth Manager, you’ll join the Commercial team and take ownership of driving sales performance and revenue growth in the micro-business segment (1–9 employees) across all routes to market. You won’t carry an individual sales quota; instead, you’ll design, enable, and optimise commercial initiatives that help frontline teams and channels sell more effectively.

You’ll shape propositions, unlock cross-sell opportunities, enhance channel performance, and lead targeted growth campaigns that accelerate telecoms adoption. We’re looking for someone curious, commercially minded, and energetic, someone who can manage multiple initiatives, influence stakeholders, simplify complex commercial challenges, and bring ideas to life.

What We Want You To Do

You will be responsible for delivering commercial success by identifying, activating, and scaling key growth opportunities. This includes:

  • Analysing the existing customer base to identify high-value cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Assessing new business opportunities to increase telecoms penetration within the micro-business market.
  • Reviewing and optimising the mobile handset + SIM portfolio to improve customer and commercial outcomes.
  • Leading targeted growth initiatives, building robust business cases, securing stakeholder buy-in, and tracking performance.
  • Identifying new commercial opportunities and partnerships across the UK B2B market to broaden reach.
  • Providing weekly and monthly insight-led performance reporting to senior leadership.
  • Working closely with Finance to validate business cases, monitor commercial performance, and understand P&L implications.

What Success In The Role Looks Like

  • Increased telecoms penetration and revenue growth in the micro-business segment.
  • Tangible cross-sell and upsell improvements across all channels.
  • Delivery of high-impact commercial initiatives with measurable results.
  • Strong uplift in channel and product performance, especially mobile.
  • Insightful reporting that influences senior leadership decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
