About the Role
Hays Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Telehandler Operator to join a busy residential construction site in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable contractor on an ongoing residential development project.
Your New Role
As a Telehandler Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials around the site, supporting trades and ensuring site operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a telehandler safely and efficiently on a busy residential construction site.
- Loading, unloading and distributing materials to designated site locations.
- Supporting site management and trades teams with material movements.
- Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting any defects.
- Adhering to all site health and safety regulations.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

What You'll Need to Succeed
- Valid CPCS Telehandler Card or NPORS Card with CSCS Logo.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Previous experience operating a telehandler on residential construction sites.
- Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
