Application Deadline: 24 July 2026

Department: Operations

Location: Perth

Compensation: £14.00 / hour

Description

This role has been created as part of the continued expansion of the Perth site, driven by an increase in Small Domestic Appliance (SDA) tonnage being processed. To support this growth, additional pre-pick shifts have been introduced, requiring enhanced supervision and coordination to maintain safe and efficient operations.

As a Telehandler Operative at Enva, you will play a key role in supporting pre-pick and SDA processing operations through the safe and efficient movement of materials across the site. You will be responsible for loading, unloading and transporting waste materials and recyclables to ensure a consistent and efficient flow into pre-pick and processing areas.

This role is critical in maintaining operational throughput, site organisation, and health & safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Material Handling: Operate a telehandler to move incoming waste, SDA materials, and processed outputs across the site safely and efficiently.
  • Pre-Pick Support: Ensure continuous and appropriate feed of materials into pre-pick lines to support operational flow and productivity.
  • Loading & Unloading: Load and unload vehicles, containers, and storage areas in line with site procedures.
  • Stock & Area Management: Organise materials within designated areas to maximise space utilisation and maintain safe access routes.
  • Equipment Checks: Carry out daily pre-use checks on the telehandler and report any faults or defects immediately.
  • Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance: Follow all site rules and safe systems of work, ensuring safe operation of plant and reporting any risks or incidents.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with pre-pick operatives, supervisors, and wider site teams to meet daily targets.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organised yard and operational area at all times.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
