Role Description
The Telehealth Registered Dietitian will provide virtual nutrition care to clients through secure video and digital communication platforms in a part-time, remote role. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive nutrition assessments
- Developing individualized care plans
- Delivering ongoing nutritional counseling aligned with evidence-based guidelines
- Supporting clients in areas such as chronic disease management, weight management, and lifestyle behavior change
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams as needed
- Documenting encounters in electronic systems
- Tracking client progress
- Integrating AI-driven insights into care plans where appropriate

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in a technology-enabled environment and can adapt to a global, culturally diverse client base.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Dietetics and Nutrition, with the ability to apply current evidence-based practice to diverse client needs.
- Demonstrated skills in Nutritional Counseling, including motivational interviewing, behavior change support, and client education.
- Experience with Medical Nutrition Therapy for conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and other chronic illnesses.
- Competence in Weight Management counseling, including assessment, goal-setting, and long-term follow-up strategies.
- Current registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) or equivalent credential, with active licensure as required by jurisdiction.
- Prior experience in telehealth or virtual care settings, with comfort using digital tools, EMRs, and AI-enabled platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work with clients from varied backgrounds and time zones.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in remote work, and commitment to data privacy and ethical practice.
- Experience in corporate wellness, population health, or employer-sponsored health programs is a plus.
