Role Description

The Telemarketing Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Wetherby. In this position, the team member will:

  • Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to introduce SO-Trak’s solutions, qualify leads, and schedule follow-up meetings or demonstrations for the sales team.
  • Answer inbound inquiries, providing clear information about products and services, and maintaining accurate records of all interactions in CRM systems.
  • Follow call scripts where appropriate.
  • Update contact details.
  • Gather customer feedback.
  • Support campaigns targeted at reducing plant theft and optimizing fleet performance.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer support colleagues to ensure a smooth handover of leads and consistent customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Service and Customer Support skills to handle inquiries and build positive, long-term relationships.
  • Excellent Phone Etiquette and Communication skills to conduct professional, clear, and engaging conversations.
  • Sales skills to identify opportunities, qualify leads, and support conversion of prospects into customers.
  • Basic computer literacy and experience using CRM or call-tracking software are beneficial.
  • Ability to work in an on-site team environment in Wetherby, with reliability, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Previous telemarketing, inside sales, or call center experience is an advantage but not strictly required.
