Salary: £55,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week (Tuesday to Saturday)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

On behalf of our client—the UK’s leading private provider of laser eye, premium intraocular lens, and cataract surgery—we are seeking a forward-thinking Telemedicine Optometrist to join their flagship clinical hub in Glasgow City Centre.

If you are looking to diversify your optometry career, step away from traditional test-room constraints, and leverage cutting-edge digital health technology, this unique role offers the perfect balance of clinical care and modern innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Virtual Consultations: Communicate with, advise, and treat pre- and post-operative surgical patients remotely via state-of-the-art telemedicine platforms.
  • Referral Triage: Review incoming referrals from community optometrists, GPs, and other primary care pathways, safely allocating patients to the correct specialist ophthalmology clinics.
  • Clinical Support: Provide invaluable clinical guidance to the centralized hub's administrative and operational teams.
  • Service Development: Partner with operations and clinical leads to identify and implement service delivery and quality improvements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
